Yash Is The First Kannada Actor To Feature On Forbes Magazine

The business magazine, Forbes is published bi-weekly, and often features original articles on finance, industry, investing, and marketing topics. But this time they are giving an entertainment touch to their annual edition by focusing entirely on the movies and its superstars. We often see Forbes buckling up squarely on Bollywood, but is glad to learn that they have narrowed the spotlight down to four industries in South India—Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

As India is celebrating its celebrities from the South on Forbes this time, the magazine featured The Rocking Star Yash on its cover. And the pride of Kannadigans is quite justifiable as Yash is the first Kannada actor to feature in Forbes India Magazine ever. The magazine tells the fascinating journey of the actor and how he ran away from his hometown in Mysuru to make it big in the Kannada film industry. His second instalment of KGF: Chapter 2 is now one of the most awaited theatrical releases of 2022.

This year’s three-cover celebrity edition of Forbes India is released as a genuine attempt to capture and represent the four vibrant South-Indian language industries. Forbes also included a list of the Top 30 most influential Instagram stars from South India. Speaking of South actors on Forbes cover, the first of their three cover stories decodes the lady superstar Nayanthara. She was chosen among all others in both Tamil and Telugu industries because her popularity across languages and regions remains uninterrupted.

For the second cover article, Dulquer Salmaan appeared for his tepid OTT presence compared to other big stars in the Malayalam industry since the pandemic. However, the third cover is quite special as Yash became the first Kannada actor to feature on the prestigious magazine cover.
