Most Eligible Bachelor On Day 1: Good Start!

Akhil Akkineni’s fourth film ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ was released yesterday in theatres. The film opened to an above-average response at the box office. Since it is a festival day, the footfall at the ticket windows is not satisfactory for the noon and matinee shows. On the whole, the film performed well in Nizam and Ceded areas.

Reportedly, The following is the detailed breakdown of the film’s collections on day one at the box office.

Nizam: 1.76 Cr
Ceded 1.10 Cr
East Godavari: 0.30 Cr
West Godavari: 0.28 Cr
Krishna: 0. 31 Cr
Vizag: 0.56 Cr
Guntur: 0.50 Cr
Nellore: 0.23 Cr
Overseas: 235k dollars

The film apparently collected a revenue of over 5 Cr on the first day of release in both the Telugu states. In a few areas, the rain also showed an impact on the film’s collections.

Directed by ‘Bommarillu’ fame Bhaskar, the film had Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Gopi Sunder scored the film’s music and Geetha Arts 2 bankrolled the film.
