‘Mohan Babu’s anger did damage to him but not others’

Manchu Vishnu took oath as the president of the Movie Artists Association (MAA) this morning in Hyderabad. Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav attended the event as a chief guest. Speaking at the event, Talasani assured the complete support of the Telangana government to Manchu Vishnu and the MAA.

“Telangana CM has clarity on the functioning of the film industry. He is going to implement several programs to make Hyderabad city as the hub for the Indian film industry. We are making appropriate plans and will announce the same shortly,” said the minister, adding, “We will take CM KCR’s appointment soon and invite the biggies of the film industry to take the discussions forward.”

“On this occasion, I am assuring Manchu Vishnu that we (Telangana government) are with you for the development of the MAA. MAA is not a small association. It has more than 900 members. There are several government schemes introduced by KCR. I am also making a promise that the eligible artists from the MAA will also benefit from these schemes,” said the minister.

Talasani also mentioned that he predicted Manchu Vishnu’s victory 10 days prior to the election. “I called Mohan Babu anna and informed him that Vishnu will taste victory.”

Talasani also made an interesting point about Mohan Babu. “Everyone says that Mohan Babu is an angry person. But I am telling everyone that his anger did more damage to him than anyone,” said Talasani twice in his speech.
