Like we said already, star heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu has made the two biggest announcements on the eve of Dasara, as two of her films were announced other day. While Tamil film Khaidi producers have announced one film with her, Telugu producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad announced another movie. And here’s the twist.
Apparently, these two films are bilingual movies, but surprisingly both are being directed by Tamil filmmakers only. While the makers of Khaidi are producing their film with Samantha under the direction of debutant Shantaruban Gnanasekharan, Telugu producer Sivalenka’s film is being directed by two young Tamil filmmakers Hari and Harish. Many are wondering how come the actress hasn’t picked up any Telugu director for a project.
Though Samantha is hearing scripts from many Telugu filmmakers including from her good friends like Nandini Reddy and others, it is being heard that she is not liking the routing commercial masala films. At the same time, there is a talk that some senior Telugu directors don’t want to work with her immediately owing to the fact that she just got separated from Chay, and that heat has to cool down first.
Otherwise we have to see if Samantha will announce a movie with a Telugu director as well in the coming days. She has Gunasekhar’s Sakuntalama getting ready for a release in Telugu right now, while Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathu vaakula rendu kadhal is her next Tamil release.
