Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde-starrer Most Eligible Bachelor might not have impressed critics, but the film directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar is the first priority among the movie goers for this festival season. As other two releases tumbled down, it is indeed turning into an advantage for the MEB.
Surprisingly, many families who are finding it difficult to get MEB tickets in the multiplexes are opting for Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s Love Story. Love Story is still strong and registering good numbers during the festive season. With this, both the Akkineni brothers are, undoubtedly, the winners of Dasara.
This has given a big boost to the Akkineni family who are happy with the response to both the films. Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story turned out to be the first major success in the country after the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
The film also turned out to be the highest opener in the country post second wave. Now, younger brother Akhil too posted decent opening numbers and has got a good run at the BO during the festival.
