Akkineni scion Akhil launched his new film titled Agent earlier this year. This action-thriller is being directed by Surender Reddy. The makers are shelling a huge amount for this movie. Meanwhile, it is now heard that a star hero will play a pivotal role in it.
According to the latest grapevine in the tinsel town, Malayalam Megastar Mammootty will play a key role in Agent. It is reported that he will join the sets in a new schedule that will start soon in Hungary.
Apparently, Mammootty will shoot for 10 days in this schedule. The combination of Akhil and Mammooty has now become an exciting factor of this flick.
Mammootty needs no introduction to the Telugu audiences as he acted in direct Telugu movies like Swathi Kiranam and Yatra.
Agent is written by Vakkantham Vamsi. Rambhramam Sunkara is bankrolling the project. It is slated for the 2022 release.
Meanwhile, Akhil is currently enjoying the success of his latest release Most Eligible Bachelor. Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, this rom-com featured Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
