Nagarjuna meets AP CM YS Jagan; What’s up?

King Nagarjuna Akkineni met AP CM YS Jagan at Tadepalli camp office. This unexpected development brought a lot of curiosity among the tinsel town and political circles.

Apparently Nagarjuna has been trying for CM Jagan’s appointment and after the AP CMO confirming the appointment, he took a special jet from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. Then Nagarjuna reached Tadepalli by road and the media reports say that Nagarjuna was accompanied by a few Tollywood film producers.

This meeting of Nagarjuna and Jagan comes in the wake of the AP cabinet meeting which was held this morning. The cabinet reportedly discussed the online ticketing portal related to new movie releases and also the ticket pricing. Nagarjuna and the delegation of TFI would seek the details of the cabinet’s resolution on issues pertaining to the film industry.

Pawan Kalyan’s comments against the YCP government ignited a huge controversy. Later producer ‘Dil’ Raju led representation met AP minister Perni Nani and tried to settle the controversy. But there appeared no progress in the talks between the film industry and YCP government.

Today’s meeting of Nagarjuna and CM Jagan is yet another round of consultation and it looks like a lengthy process. However, there is no official word about this meeting from Nagarjuna’s PR and the APCMO.

There have been no big releases from Tollywood in recent times but from December, the box office will witness huge rush and there is a huge anticipation among the industry folks on Sankranthi 2022 releases.

If the issues are not resolved by then, the big films will have a tough time to make money and this will result in an uninvited crisis in the industry.
