Who Will Come For Chiru?

Chiranjeevi’s Acharya had to see unexpected delays like many other films, due to the global pandemic. The interesting part is, his next film is decided and the script work is already going on, in contrast with his usual dilemma of picking up his next.

After going for a remake for his comeback film Khaidi No 150, Chiru found his interest in yet another remake ‘Lucifer’, a Malayalam blockbuster of Mohan Lal. Saaho director Sujeeth is working on the script and is busy making changes as per Telugu nativity.

There is a powerful lady character in Lucifer, that is not blood-related to the lead role but is a sister to him. While Manju Warrier played the role in Malayalam, the interesting names from 80’s heroines are popping on who would look and excel better in the role alongside Chiru.

Vijayashanti’s name was heard for this role in Lucifer. Though she made her re-entry with a role in Sarileru Neekevvaru, Vijayashanti announced a break again, due to unknown reasons. Vijayashanti may not reject the role if approached for it, but the question on many minds was, wouldn’t it look awkward if an actress who paired him up for many films as heroine, turns up in a sister role.

After Vijayashanti, it is Suhasini’s name that is being heard to be in consideration for the role. Needless to say that Suhasini too acted as heroine opposite Chiru in many films, but the makers are more interested in seeing Suhasini than Vijayashanti for the role. It is even heard that Suhasini gave a nod on that role played by Manju Warrier.

Yesteryear’s popular actress Khushboo acted as Chiru’s sister in the movie Stalin, and here is Suhasini playing a similar one again.
