After the success of Soggade Chinni Nayana, King Nagarjuna announced a spin-off of it, titled Bangarraju. This movie was supposed to hit the floors long back but got delayed for many months due to various reasons.
Finally, it went on the floors in August this year and since then, there is no stopping for it. As per the latest reports, the makers have finished 60% of the shoot already and are currently canning some important sequences in Rajahmundry.
It is heard that Nagarjuna wants to wrap up the entire shoot by the end of this year and is adamant about releasing the film on 15th January 2022, during the Sankranthi festive season.
Even Soggade Chinni Nayana had released during the same festive season in 2016. Nag is repeating the sentiment for this movie as well.
Directed by Kalyana Krishna, Bangarraju features Naga Chaitanya, Ramya Krishna and Krithi Shetty in the other lead roles.
Nagarjuna is bankrolling the project in association with Zee Studios. Anup Rubens is composing the music for this film.
