Manchi Rojulochaie is an intelligently executed experiment that is yielding rich dividends to the makers. Despite the moderate start at the box office, the film is already in the safe zone and here’s the story behind it.
Firstly, Manchi Rojulochaie was made on a shoestring budget. The shooting was apparently completed in a month, which resulted in low production costs.
Aha bagged the digital rights of the film and Star Network acquired the satellite rights even before the release. This way, the makers recovered the entire investment by selling non-theatrical rights.
Also, the makers released the film on their own through their distribution chain. So, whatever revenues they mint from theatrical run is outright profit.
Maruthi is a pro when it comes to handling low-budget projects and that is the case with Manchi Rojulochaie now. The film is reaping profits to the makers.
