Bhagyashree Reveals Why She Took A Long Break From Films

Actress Bhagyashree, who started her acting career with Salman Khan’s Maine Pyaar Kiya in 1989, took a long hiatus from the showbiz world. However, she is back with a bang with Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi film. The 52-year-old actor is also busy shooting for Prabhas’s Radhe Shaym now.

In one of the recent interviews, the senior actor opened up about the reason why she took a long break from the films. Bhagyashree reportedly said that she suffered from a medical condition that made it difficult for her to move her right hand. Apparently, Bhagyashree reportedly took a year to recover from it.

She further said that instead of being idle she utilized the recovery time by indulging in gaining expertise in nutrition and fitness. The actress further added that she did not opt for surgery, instead, she worked hard and recovered by self-healing.

“During the time of my television show Laut Aao Trisha, I couldn’t move my right hand and it took me a year to recover from it. The doctors had suggested surgery but I was really scared of it. I self-healed, which came as a shock and surprise to them. I realised that a simplistic way of living can help one heal within their home,” she said.

Currently, Bhagyashree is busy with Radhe Shyam, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. After several delays owing to the pandemic, the movie is now scheduled to hit the theatres screens on the special occasion of Sankranthi on January 14, 2022.
