Actress Poonam Pandey has alleged that her husband Sam Bombay assaulted her. Poonam complained to Mumbai police against her husband. She was admitted to hospital after registering a police complaint against husband.
According to cops, Poonam suffered serious injuries on her head, eyes and face. Cops have arrested Sam Bombay following Poonam’s complaint and the case has been registered under the sections of the IPC. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
Sam Bombay and Poonam were seeing each other before finally tying the knot on 10th September, 2020. The couple headed for Goa for a film shooting where they reportedly developed differences that led to fighting. Poonam had approached Goa police against husband Sam.
Goa police have counselled the couple and persuaded them to go home. Meanwhile, Poonam and Sam had a fight in Mumbai and the former suffered injuries and thus approached Mumbai police on Monday night.
More details are awaited. Sam Bombay is yet to respond to Poonam’s allegations and the police case filed against him.
