A contestant has won Rs 1 crore in Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu, a television show hosted by NTR Junior. This record has been set for the first time in Telugu TV history.
The contestant, identified as Raja Ravindra, a Sub-Inspector of Police from Kothagudem in Telangana, cracked all the questions and won the massive money.
A national level player in gun shooting in police tournaments, Ravindra has said his aim is to participate in Olympics in air rifle category. He added that he would make use of the prize money to achieve his ambition.
NTR, who is hosting the show in an enthusiastic manner in his unique style, has expressed happiness over Ravindra winning Rs 1 crore. Those in Gemini TV too are said to be equally happy.
The official Telugu adaptation of the Britain’s game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu is currently being aired on Gemini TV since August 2021 with NTR Jr as the host.
