Other day with the producers of Bheemla Naayak confirming that they are hitting the screens on January 12th as planned, the whole of Telugu Film Industry got shocked with the move.
And today, Active Producers Guild has called for an immediate meeting in order to resolve the issue, because the release of this Pawan Kalyan’s movie will have huge repercussions on other competitors of the Sankranthi season.
Apparently, the producers of Bheemla Nayak have already moved out their recent movie Varudu Kavalenu from the Dasara race and that resulted in a huge loss of collections. In good seasons, an average film will collect in the range of super hit film and that advantage needs to be cashed upon.
Citing their recent experience, the producers of Bheemla Nayak have now decided to not miss out on Sankranthi 2022 despite the fact that RRR (Jan 7) and Radhe Shyam (Jan 14) are around the corner.
With Bheemla Nayak around, surely RRR and Radhe Shyam will see the impact and shortage of theatres in the Telugu states while the film won’t disturb them much in other states. Also if Bheemla turns out to be that big mass treat as expected, then the collections of RRR and Radhe Shyam might see a drop in B & C centres.
Also for Pawan Kalyan’s movie, if he moves out of the Pongal race and comes solo later, AP Govt might target him with their low-price-ticket rules and much more.
So we have to see how will the guild convince today to move Bheemla Nayak out of the race or will they get convinced for his arrival.
