Maya is one of the best horror thrillers made in Tamil Cinema in the recent past. It was a big hit at the box office. Even its Telugu version, Mayuri, was also a successful venture in the Telugu states.
Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, Maya featured Nayanthara as the lead. Now, the duo has teamed up for yet another film.
Titled Connect, this new movie was announced earlier today, on the occasion of Nayanthara’s birthday.
Ashwin shared the first look poster of the movie this morning and tweeted, “6 years later & the reunion has finally happened. Extremely honoured to be working with the one and only! Thank you @VigneshShivN brother & @Rowdy_Pictures for backing my vision. I couldn’t be more excited to show the world what we are up to. #HappyBirthdayNayanthara #Connect.”
Anupam Kher and Satya Raj will play the other pivotal roles in the movie. Going by the first look poster, it looks like Connect is also going to be a supernatural thriller.
Vignesh Shivan is bankrolling the project under his banner Rowdy Pictures. Prithvi Chandrasekhar is composing the music.
