It’s for the land that gave us the birth that we fight, it’s for the people that stand by us we fight and that’s how the Indian freedom struggle took its shape until the tri-colour was hoisted in Delhi. Giving a soulful meaning, shape and structure to that whole time period, Rajamouli and his brother Keeravani has come up with this heart touching song, is what the first feels of “Janani” are like.
While Keeravani added a note initially saying that Janani is the song that sums up all the pulse-pounding moments from the film, one could easily understand from the visuals that the song is a tribute to the martyrs and the fighters who stood against the British to achieve independence.
A soulful rendition from Keeravani, the song is so catchy, stirring your heart through a myriad of emotions about freedom fight, thus giving goosebumps in the end. Also, it looks like the song will bring some tears as well even for the strong-hearted, if Rajamouli’s visuals are anything to go by.
Living up to all the hype and appreciation around it, Janani song is pushing millions out there into nostalgia and it looks like the song will come towards the end of the film. Well, Rajamouli is a dramatic storyteller and it looks like the Baahubali maker has reached his heights with this creation while his brother’s musical extravaganza is aptly supporting his ambitions.
