Following the footsteps of various other stars, Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is all set to make his debut in the web series arena. The actor has announced his maiden digital series the other day. Titled Biscuit King, this series is based on the life of Rajan Pillai.
For those who are unaware, Rajan Pillai was a popular Indian businessman, who had major stakes in Brittania Industries. He was then arrested in a fraud and breach of trust case. He died in 1995 when he was in Tihar Jail custody. Rajan was popularly known as the ‘Biscuit Baron’ or ‘Biscuit King’.
Apart from acting, Prithviraj will also direct this series. Biscuit King will be bankrolled by Yodlee Films.

Presenting our latest project in the making: A Hindi web series inspired by the life story of India’s ‘Biscuit King’ – Rajan Pillai with National Award winner @PrithviOfficial playing the lead role and also directing the series.”
This will be Prithviraj’s third directorial project, after Lucifer and Bro Daddy. Lucifer was a blockbuster at the box office. Bro Daddy is currently in the post-production stage.
