‘Akhanda’ revived the industry: Mohan Babu

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda’ is making a lot of noise at the box office. The film surpassed many hurdles and expectations which is the need of the hour for the Tollywood industry. As per the latest reports the first weekend collections are really stunning and the details of numbers will be out later today.

Not just with collections, ‘Akhanda’ is receiving appreciation from the industry too. Collection King Mohan Babu and MAA President Vishnu Manchu met Balakrishna and congratulated the latter on the grand success.

On this occasion Mohan Babu opined that ‘Akhanda’ revived the industry. “We are still prevailing in circumstances that are looking scary. Amidst this we have been hearing that audiences would not turn up to the theatres. Yet in this critical situation, ‘Akhanda’ scored an astounding hit. This film’s success is crucial for the rest of the industry and it gave hope to many films that are lying without a release,” said Mohan Babu.

Further the veteran actor congratulated Balakrishna and the team of ‘Akhanda’ on the huge success. “To my brother Balayya, to the director Boyapati Srinu, producer and the entire team, a heartfelt congratulations! Also I would like to thank the Telugu audiences who yet again proved that they will watch good films in theatres,” signed off Mohan Babu.

‘Akhanda’ is the first big ticket of the second wave of pandemic. Despite a divide talk, fans are thoroughly enjoying the movie.
