Akhanda Is Not A Mass Film, Says Balayya

For the kind of uproar Akhanda is doing at the box office, definitely, everyone will agree to the fact that it is a perfect mass bonanza for fans and other audiences too. But then, Nandamuri Balakrishna is quick to say that this is not a mass movie. Wonder why? Here goes what he said.

Basking in the success of the blockbuster hit audience gave to him, currently, Balayya is promoting the movie more through interviews. In a team interview other day, Balayya clarified to anchor Udayabhanu that Akhanda is not a mass movie as she stated that the whistles and shouts inside the famous AMB Theatre are not expected by her for the movie.

“Akhanda is not a mass movie or a class movie. It has base in Siva Tatvam and it is made for all the sections of the audience. That’s the reason the film scored such a phenomenal success”, said Balayya, explaining how director Boyapati Sreenu induced lots of Siva ideology into the movie. “Whenever nature and kids get hurt by man, Siva arises and that’s the primary concept of Akhanda, which is appealing to all sections of the audience” he added.

Even director Boyapati Sreenu added that the film is right now witnessing 30-40% occupancy from female audience and it’s not mass film anymore. The whole team of Akhanda is quite elated with he success and they might do more interviews in the coming days to share the happiness.
