Teaser: Simbu & Gautham Menon Combo Is Back

Director Gautham Vasudev Menon and actor Simbu enjoy a big fan base in the Kollywood film industry. The duo delivered a couple of interesting hits at the box office in the past. Now, they are back again with a new film titled Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. The makers launched the film’s teaser on Friday and it impressed everyone big time.

The 1.5-minute long teaser has glimpses of Simbu’s character in different situations. The film is set against a rural backdrop and the teaser starts off on an interesting note. There are no dialogues in the film’s teaser but AR Rahman croons the song, ‘Marakkuma Nenjam’ in the background.

The teaser hints at details of the film’s lead (Simbu) who hails from a humble background and gets stuck in interpersonal conflicts. The director cleverly cut the teaser in a fashion where the details of the plot are kept under wraps.

There are reports that the movie will discuss the aspects of deforestation and wildfires. The visuals look grand and the background score is equally impressive.

Earlier, the film was titled Nadhigalilae Neeradum Suriyan. Ishari K Ganesh and Ashwin Kumar jointly produced the film under the banner of Vels Film International.
