Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy is one of the costliest films made in the actor’s career. The film set against the backdrop of Calcutta has different time periods – one in 1960’s and the other is contemporary. The film is an epic love story but has time travel and the mystic touch. The movie has high-end VFX and huge sets involved.
Inside buzz is that the film’s screenplay is going to be different but also complicated. This is what worries Nani’s fans and trade. How the film would fare at the cinemas depends on how the film and its screenplay are received.
If the screenplay manages to convince the viewers, then the film is expected to work well. After releasing two films in OTT, Nani is coming back to theaters with SSR. So, certainly, he is crossing his fingers.
As the makers of the film are going to unveil the film’s trailer today, it needs to be seen how the trailer is going to look like. SSR is hitting the screens on 24th December on Christmas eve. It also depends on Pushpa’s reception at the BO and how Pushpa would fare at the cinemas.
