Of course, the end is near as Bigg Boss 5 is heading for a mega finale this weekend with the shoot of the program all set to start today. Already many audiences are unanimously opining that Sunny will walk away with the crown while Sriram is also close to winning. Many of them have kept the name of Siri and Shanmukh in the last two positions only even in some online polls.
Other day, Bigg Boss has come up with a major stunt of eliminating Siri from the house, only leading to more ‘friendship hugs’ between her and Shanmukh. While two contestants voted to send out Shanmukh, Bigg Boss has picked up Siri, thus surprising many, though some already started to feel that this is just a stunt. And she was sent to the confession room, only to bring her back an hour later, to give more treats of friendship hugs to the viewers.
One wonders why Bigg Boss did this silly stunt except for the fact that they have to generate some interesting content before the finale. Had they eliminated at least Sunny or Sriram for a joke, the promo and the content would have raked up huge TRPs for sure, but sending out Siri hasn’t generated any emotion or fun if the online buzz is anything to go by. So why did Bigg Boss do this stunt?
At the least if this stunt is done a couple of days back and if she was held in a secret room for a day or two, surely there would have been a good masala dose to the program. But this one-hour elimination hasn’t worked out at all, even for fun.
