Natural Star Nani’s epic love story Shyam Singha Roy will be gracing the theatres next week. The film’s pre-release event is held today at Shilpakala Vedhika in presence of massive crowd.
Rahul Sankrityan said, “The backdrop of Bengal really excited me, when Satya came to told me the story. Along with me, destiny too directed the movie. The musical instruments Mickey used for second half are extraordinary. We initially planned to have AR Rahman as the composer. He was not available, so Mickey came on board. The Mahal set, we are badly missing it. We built a temple and we are inviting you to watch it in theatres on December 24th. Venkat garu is one of the reasons for making this scale of film. It’s a 60 cr budget film. I like Sirivennela a lot. He penned two beautiful songs. The character Shyam Singha Roy was born for Nani. Doing this film is like completing a graduation for me.”
Krithi Shetty said, “I faced lots of challenges as an actor, while working for this film. It’s not like Bebamma’s character. It’s not Krithi as well. The thought of giving new feel to you excited me. Youth will connect to Keerthy’s character. Nani, thanks for always very supportive. You’ll all become Fidaa to Sai Pallavi’s character.”
Sai Pallavi burst into tears with the kind of response at the event. She indeed turned very emotive, while speaking at the do. She thanked all her directors for giving her good roles in their movies. She made a big statement saying, “If you (audience) hadn’t accepted me, I wouldn’t have done so many films. I became emotional, since I watched live performance on stage. I thought I would cry only when a person wins a national award or an Oscar. I feel really happy today for the kind of love you’re showering on us.”
Nani also appreciated singer Anurag Kulkarni for his live performance on stage. He further said the song Sirivennela penned by Sirivennela Seethara Sastry has become a soul of the movie. “I faced trolls for wearing mostly black and white shirts for events. My wife bought 10 blazers for me. But I didn’t have the courage the wear them. Now, I feel I’m eligible to wear them. You’ll know why we are very confident on the film, when you watch in cinemas. You’ll definitely have the satisfaction. There’s a reason for Sai Pallavi becoming very emotional today. You’ll realize it when you watch the movie. Rahul is a surprise package.”
