Samantha Rejected Oo Antav Oo Oo Antava right away!

Samantha is one of the star heroines in the film industry whose career graph witnessed a huge growth after marriage. She kept on doing female-oriented films and strong characters but when she signed an item song in Pushpa: The Rise, it raised everyone’s eyebrows. In a recent interview, Sukumar made a shocking confession that Samantha declined his offer initially.

Samantha made her debut in Bollywood with ‘The Family Man 2’ web series. She never played cameos in other films too. She is not at all looking at sizzling in item songs too. So, when asked if Samantha immediately agreed to do the song, Sukumar said, “No. When I approached her with the offer, she rejected it initially.”

“Samantha said that the song might not be the right pick for her. I convinced her saying that she will look good in the song and gave examples of other star heroines doing special songs. I also reminded her that Pooja Hegde too did a special song in Rangasthalam. Still, Samantha was not convinced,” said Sukumar.

However, Samantha finally did the song by evincing trust in Sukumar. “She finally agreed to do the song based on the trust she has in me. I am happy that the song is getting a positive response from everyone,” Sukku revealed.
