It is already known that Jr NTR will work with Koratala Siva for a new film after the release of RRR. The shoot of this movie is expected to start in early 2022. Now, it is being heard that the makers are planning to sign up Samantha as the leading lady of this movie.
According to the sources, the heroine’s role is an author-backed one in the film and thus, the team felt that Samantha will be an apt choice for it. It is heard that the makers haven’t approached Samantha yet.
The Eega actress has acted alongside Jr NTR before, in films like Brundavanam, Rabhasa and Janatha Garage. Their combination proved to be successful in the past and will be an add-on for this new movie.
If she signs the film, this will be Samantha’s first big project as a lead actress after her separation from Naga Chaitanya.
This film is expected to be launched after Sankranthi. This is the second project in the combination of Jr NTR and Koratala Siva, after Janatha Garage.
Currently, Samantha has Shaakuntalam, Kathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal (Tamil), Yashoda, Arrangements of Love and an untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual project in the pipeline.
