‘Those Same People Will Be Dying To Take A Selfie With Me’

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora are not only one of the most lovable couples of Bollywood but also faced a lot of criticism for the latter being 15 years older than the former. However, the lovebirds never cared about the trolls regarding their age gap and are rather busy painting the town red with their mushy romance.

For a section of people, Arjun and Malaika’s age gap has always been a hot topic and Arjun is brutally trolled of late on social media for dating an older woman. During a recent interview, when Arjun was asked about these trolls, he emphasized that his personal life is his prerogative.

“We don’t even look at 90 percent of it so the trolling cannot be given so much importance, because it’s all fake. Those same people will be dying to take a selfie with me when they meet me, so you cannot believe that narrative. What I do in my personal life is my prerogative,” Arjun Kapoor said.

He further added that his work is all that matters and if his hard work is being recognized, the rest can be ignored. “You can’t be so bothered about whose age is what, so we should just live, let live and move on, I think it’s a silly thought process to look at age and contextualize a relationship” he added.

When he was asked about making his relationship with Malaika public, unlike other stars who prefer to keep their love life under the wraps, the actor said that he announced his relationship on social media so that they are not bothered and troubled by some fake news and speculations. At the same time, he said he is private about his personal life. The actor is currently under isolation after contracting Coronavirus.
