Rana’s 1945 To Finally Release This Week

Rana’s already wrapped up film Virata Parvam by Venu Udugula has been waiting for its release for the past five months. The makers are looking to bring the film to theatres only in February. Another film of Rana’s, 1945, was also procrastinated for a long, long time. And finally, it is gearing up for its release on Jan 7.

1945 is more than a three-year-old project. Unfortunately, Rana’s couple of films failed to release on time and got postponed more than expected, thus, leaving fans less intrigued. Nevertheless, it is great to learn that the film by Sathyasiva will finally have its release. “The long-overdue @RanaDaggubati action India independence based film #1945Movie has announced a Release on Jan 7,” read the tweet from the makers.

1945 is a period-drama that revolves around India’s Independence struggle. The film features Rana in the role of a soldier who works for Subash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army. Regina Cassandra played the female lead and Nasser, Satyaraj, and RJ Balaji will be seen in pivotal roles.

Financed by S. N. Rajarajan of K Production, the film was left unfinished in 2019 due to alleged differences between the producer and Rana. But looks like things took a back seat to give fans a visual treat soon. Yuvan Shankar Raja has provided the score for the flick, while Sathya Ponmar has taken care of cinematography. Gopi Krishna has done the editing for the project.
