Sid Sriram is a singing sensation in South India right now. He is currently one of the busiest singers in the Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries. If the ongoing grapevine is anything to go by, this singing starlet is all set to make his acting debut soon.
Sid Sriram made his singing debut with Mani Ratnam’s feature Kadal (Kadali in Telugu). According to the Kollywood media reports, the legendary director will also launch Sid as an actor.
Apparently, Sid Sriram is hearing a script for a while now and it is being reported that the final call has been taken recently. He will be playing the lead hero in this project.
However, it is still unknown whether Mani Ratnam will direct this film or he will be producing it. More details about the project are expected to be unveiled soon.
Meanwhile, Sid Sriram’s fans are pretty excited about this news. They have enjoyed his voice until now and are gearing up to witness his acting skills in the coming days.
On the flip side, Mani Ratnam is currently busy with the works of his ongoing mega project Ponniyin Selvan.
