Fake Rumor Surrounds Dhanush’s Telugu Debut

Just a few days ago, actor Dhanush announced his new film Vaathi under the direction of Venky Atluri. Touted to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project, this film has been titled ‘Sir’ in Telugu. It was formally launched with a pooja ceremony and the shooting also began last week.

Malayalam actress Samyuktha Menon had been roped in as the leading lady of this movie. However, it is now being heard that she has walked out of the project.

The reports also claimed that the makers are currently hunting for another actress. Meanwhile, the film’s official PR team has confirmed that there is no truth in the news and quashed it as a baseless rumor.

Thus, it looks like Samyuktha hasn’t walked out of the project and is very much part of it.

Sir is being produced jointly by Surya Devara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under their respective banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

Apart from this film, Dhanush also announced another Tamil-Telugu bilingual film under the direction of Shekhar Kammula. It is yet to hit the floors.
