Simbu-starrer Maanaadu remained one of the biggest hits of Tamil cinema in 2021. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this movie went on to become a massive success at the box office. It also ended up as a perfect comeback film for Simbu.
Given its success of it in Tamil, popular production house Suresh Productions bought its Telugu remake rights. An official announcement regarding the remake rights acquisition was made recently.
It was rumoured that Rana Daggubati will feature in the Telugu remake of Maanaadu. But we now hear that not Rana but his younger brother Abhiram Daggubati will act in this movie.
According to the sources, Suresh Babu is planning to remake this film with Abhiram and searching for a suitable director now.
An official announcement is expected to be made once the whole cast and crew get finalized.
Meanwhile, Abhiram is currently acting in his debut film which is being directed by Teja.
