Tollywood’s one of the self-made heroes, Nikhil Siddhartha, who was last seen in 2019 Arjun Suravam, now has two films – Karthikeya 2 and 18 Pages – in the pipeline. The actor also revealed that he signed two more projects, but the pandemic has thrown its release dates in total disarray.
Nikhil wrote that he is very sad to see how the pandemic started affecting careers on unimaginable levels. “After the success of #ArjunSuravaram I signed 4 movies… 4 brilliant scripts that I am very confident about. But Release dates have all gone Haywire. Praying to God this all sorts out & we release the movies Perfectly,” he added. The third wave is hitting every part of the economy, but when it comes to the entertainment industry, actors, in particular, are paying a steep price financially and creatively.
It’s been challenging for many actors, be it big or small, and everyone is just staying positive despite this situation with all of its disappointments and refusals. A few days ago, Nikhil also bravely spoke about AP ticket issues and how closing theatres broke his heart. Comparing theatres to temples, Nikhil thanked the Telangana government for supporting TFI. He further requested the AP Government to consider the industry’s losses due to the decisions made.
