Shruti Haasan is celebrating her 36th birthday today and the makers of Salaar have already introduced her character as ‘Aadya’ with a new poster today. With the lockdown putting a temporary pause on film releases in theatres, people looked forward to the OTT platforms for Entertainment and Shruti leaves no stone unturned in grabbing the spotlight. The actress surprised fans as the new poster of her series ‘The Bestseller’ is out today.
Amazon Prime has bagged the rights to adapt the novel The Bestseller. The series will have Shruti and Arjan Bajwa in the lead roles. Mithun Chakraborty and Gauahar Khan will be seen in pivotal roles. The Ravi Subramanian novel is a story about love, betrayal and redemption.
The story revolves around the protagonists, a banker cum a best seller author, and a student who aspires to become the best selling author. Shruti plays the role of a student as Shreya. The show will be released on prime on Feb 18, 2022.
