Businessman Raj Kundra who was arrested in pornography production content in July 2021, has transferred assets worth Rs 38.5 crore to his wife Shilpa Shetty. The assets include the entire first floor of a building with five flats and their sea facing bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai.
Each flat is spread over nearly 6,000 square feet and along with these five flats, Shilpa Shetty has also got the entire stilt car parking transferred on her name. The stamp duty paid for the transfer is Rs 1.92 crore.
The documents of these assets show the transfer deed was carried out last month on 21st and the registration happened on January 24th.
This transfer of assets sparked fresh rumours whether Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are separating. Post his arrest, Shilpa Shetty was devastated and she did not receive any help from the Bollywood industry.
She never appeared in public and maintained her silence from commenting. Rumours surfaced that Shipa was considering to divorce Raj Kundra but things did not go that way.
