7 Arts Sarayu needs no special introduction, especially after she participated in the last Bigg Boss season. She gained a decent amount of admiration for her bold and fierce attitude in the house. However, Sarayu falls into legal trouble after an FIR has been filed against her for allegedly insulting Hindu gods.
The complaint was filed by Sircilla district Vishwa Hindu Parishad president Chapuri Ashok Sircilla and he alleged that Youtuber and ex-BB contestant Sarayu demeaned the Hindu community in one of her short films. The complaint was originally filed at the Sircilla police station but later transferred to the Banjara Hills police station in Hyderabad.
The video which was mentioned in the FIR was released in February last year on a YouTube channel called 7 Arts. It was shot as a promotional campaign for a local restaurant and Sarayu, along with others donned a saffron headband that read, ‘Ganapati Bappa Moriya’ and allegedly drank alcohol. The complainant sought strict action against Sarayu, who is no stranger to controversies.
