‘Yes, I Penned #RC15. Shankar Adapted The Story’

Starting his career with a hit film, Pizza, Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj has seen many ups and downs in his 10-year career. Films like Petta and Navarasa gave him a few years of continuous flops. Karthik is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie ‘Mahaan’.

However, he has now confirmed that he is the one who penned the story for Ram Charan and Shankar’s ‘RC15’. In a recent interview, the young director shared some interesting facts about Charan’s upcoming movie, directed by Shankar Shanmugam. “Yes, I was the one who penned the story for ‘RC15’. Shankar sir took the story from me and developed it as per his own style. I am excited about the project,” he said.

Amid the assumptions about the genre of the film, ‘RC15’ is a political drama, he said. Karthik Subbaraj’s association with RC15’s story makes the film‘s buzz even greater. But at the same time, Charan’s fans are quite unsure about the outcome after the Tamil director’s recent flops.

Touted to be an intense action-political drama, Ram Charan will be seen in an energetic role. After Boyapati Srinu’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, this is the second time that Kiara is pairing up with Ram Charan. Dil Raju will produce the film and the shooting is currently underway with the upcoming schedule to be shot in Rajahmundry.
