Other day, there has been a big announcement which excited the kids of the 90s but then, very big news for film lovers in general. Corporate giant Sony Picutres has acquired the total rights of the popular TV series Shaktimaan that once shook up the total entertainment lovers of India.
It was announced that Shaktimaan will be now adapted into a feature film and there will be three parts of it, making it a trilogy. Currently, the makers are trying to rope in a top Superstar of the country whose transformation into Shaktimaan would make the trilogy a terrific pan-Indian film. And who else is that superstar at the moment if not for Baahubali Prabhas and Pushpa’s Allu Arjun?
There are rumors coming up that Sony Pictures has approached Prabhas earlier as well, though there is no clarity that the Saaho star has signed a deal yet. At the same time, many Bollywood production houses are trying to ink a deal with Allu Arjun for a project ever since Pushpa made a ₹ 100 crores net collection from the Bollywood box office. They say that Sony might approach Bunny as well to play the titular role.
With the likes of Krish playing super hero on the screen already, they might also find an alternative like Tiger Shroff as well but those Bollywood stars won’t help the films do a business down the south. Let’s see.
