Telugu Stars Are Pushing Our Boundaries Of Imagination With OTT

Of late, web series are seen replacing movies and television and has thoroughly become the heart of the young generation. Instead of doing a routine and mundane three-hour movie with a mandatory five songs in it, the Telugu actors have also joined the bandwagon and are utilizing the evolution of the internet and growing social media’s existence.

After her massive success with The Family Man 2, Samantha will likely be a part of two web series by the Amazon Prime Video and Aha. Also, director duo Raj and DK have cast Samantha for an upcoming web series Citadel, which is a popular American TV series by Russo Brothers. Samantha is the female lead where she is paired alongside Varun Dhawan for the first time.

And Naga Chaitanya is also preparing for his debut in OTT debut with a web series. The series will be bankrolled by Amazon Prime Video and directed by Vikram K Kumar. Chay will be seen for the first time in supernatural horror elements and Tamil actress Priya Bhavani Shankar will play the female lead in it. Meanwhile, Raashi Khanna is also eyeing OTT and is now working on a new untitled web series for Amazon Prime Video. Shahid Kapoor and Raashi Khanna are playing the lead roles in it. This upcoming web series can be a game-changer for her, directed by Raj &DK.

Now, the latest news is that Ram Charan is in talks right now to make his Netflix debut very soon. This means, he would be the first mega hero to join the OTT craze. Earlier when we have seen a thing called Web-Series emerging, creating its place and taking over the digital space by storm, Sundeep Kishan and Satya Dev have already wowed us with their performances. Web-Series tries to set up and capture things in a bit different way and most of the directors are breaking rules and approaching in a more cinematic manner.Hopefully, the lead actors of Tollywood create some magic with their debuts in OTT as well.
