The Telugu states are engulfed with ‘Bheemla Nayak’ mania. The initial response from the benefit and early morning shows are outstanding and coming to the critics reviews, a majority of them have given thumbs up.
But in Andhra Pradesh, the theatres are witnessing a tense atmosphere. The police and revenue departments are seen at every theatre screening ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and shockingly officials are pressuring the theatre management to sell tickets at lower prices than fixed.
TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh responded to these acts of YCP government against Pawan’s film. “Hearing tremendous response for #BheemlaNayak. Looking forward to watching it. @ysjagan wants to transform AP into a begging bowl by finishing off one industry after another, movie industry being no exception. I wish #BheemlaNayak overcomes all conspiracies to come out triumphant,” tweeted Lokesh.
Indeed the film exhibitors and distributors are distressed with AP government’s action. Former AP Film Chamber President NV Prasad said exhibitors have to shift from this business. “This is not an attack on Pawan but against the entire exhibition sector. The officials are inspecting the theatres and are troubling us. We are facing huge difficulties,” said NV Prasad.
