Tamil star hero Dhanush’s upcoming movie ‘Maaran’ is getting an OTT release on Disney+HotStar and will be available for streaming from March 11th. The trailer is out!
Dhanush plays an investigative journalist who is fearless and always goes behind the truth. He develops a sensational story about a politician pazhani played by Samuthirakani. The trailer is all about the journalist versus the politician.
Directed by Karthick Naren of ‘D16’ fame, the trailer is racy and Dhanush showcases his usual best. Malavika Mohanan is the female lead and she believes in Maaran and supports him in his fight. There is a sister sentiment angle too in this film and gets significant coverage in the trailer.
Overall ‘Maaran’ appears to be a well packaged entertainer but ironically has opted for a digital release despite Tamil Nadu allowing full capacity seating in theatres.
