It has been a long time since Malayalam Megastar Mammootty scored a big hit at the box office. All his fans were eagerly waiting for him to come back strong with a blockbuster film. Finally, their wishes have been fulfilled in the form of Mammootty’s latest flick Bheeshma Parvam.
This gangster drama had hit the screens last Friday and opened to unanimously positive reviews. Even the audiences flocked into theatres in big numbers right from the show one.
As a result, Bheeshma Parvam has now become the all-time highest opening weekend grosser at the Kerala box office, by surpassing Mohanlal’s 2019 blockbuster Lucifer.
Mammukka’s fans are also expecting the film to surpass the lifetime collections of Lucifer and emerge as the new industry hit of Malayalam Cinema.
As of now, the top-5 highest opening weekend grossing films of the Malayalam industry are Bheeshma Parvam, Lucifer, Baahubali 2, Kayam Kulam Kochunni and Odiyan.
Directed by Amal Neerad, Bheeshma Parvam features Anasuya, Nadhiya, Soubhin Shahir and Sreenath Bhasi in the other pivotal roles.
