Radhe Shyam Is A Big Risk I Took: Prabhas

Pan India star Prabhas wore his heart on his sleeves. The Baahubali star gets candid in a tete-a-tete. Radhe Shyam is all set for release on March 11th.

“I have proved here (Telugu) with Varsham, Darling and Mr Perfect that I can do love stories. I want to do the same in Bollywood. Radhe Shyam is one such attempt. It is certainly a big risk that I took,” shares Prabhas. He added that he is happy with the way the film shaped up and at the same time he is little nervous as how Hindi audiences would receive the film. I hope audiences would love the film.

“I often stay in touch with my Darlings (fans). Whenever I meet them, I ask them many questions to know what they like and what they want me to do. I had asked many of my fans that how many fights were there in Darling movie. To my surprise, none of them gave correct answer. Some said 2 fights, some even asked whether it had fights. But Darling movie had 5 fights. This was clear that my fans love a film based on story and its subject rather than the action components. No doubt, they love me doing action. But not just action,” adds Prabhas.

Love stories or action films? What is Prabhas favourite? “If you personally ask me, I love to watch love stories. Mani Ratnam’s Geetanjali is my all-time favorite film. But I prefer to do action movies when it comes to playing on screen.”

“Radhe Shyam is a love story as well as a gripping thriller. The first half has chase sequences. The ship episode is 13 minutes. It has very high tempo. The film caters to all sections. Action lovers won’t be disappointed either,” says Prabhas. He adds, “Especially my female fans would fall in love with my role of Vikramaditya.

When asked about teaming up with Rajamouli, Koratala Siva and Puri Jagannadh, Prabhas said, “Yes I’d love to work with all three of them. But I really can’t tell when everything is going to materialise.”

Talking about his impressive line-up of films where every film is different from one another, Prabhas admits, “I was looking for different films. That’s when I came across these subjects which I liked them immensely. So, it is part of my planning and also destiny. Salaar, Adipurush, Project K, Spirit all belong to different genres. I hope they will enthrall my fans.”
