The pandemic lockdown brought a huge demand for the over-the-top platforms. In the last two years, many films released on OTT platforms irrespective of language as theatres doors were shut with restrictions. The same period also saw new OTT platforms getting floated and now we are going to see the biggest home grown OTT platform.
Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh is venturing into OTT business and taking to his social media handle he wrote, “Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein. “It’s the world of OTT and something is gonna happen).”
The image posted by Shah Rukh has the logo SRK+ and that might be the OTT platform label while Shah Rukh in the image shows thumbs up. However, there is no update on its launch date of the OTT platform except for ‘Coming Soon.’
The ‘Pathaan’ actor is a successful businessman and he knows how to market his product and make it reachable to his millions of fans. SRK+ for sure will give a tough competition to the leaders in this space.
