Keerthy Suresh As Alamelu Manga

Even after Penguin’s debacle, actress Keerthy Suresh continues to be a hot choice for Telugu makers. While she is going to romance Mahesh Babu in Sarkaru Vaari Paata, the latest we hear that she has been approached for director Teja’s next with Gopichand.

It’s learnt that Teja wanted an actress with acting prowess. The whole movie revolves around the girl in his upcoming Alamelu Manga Venkata Ramana. Keerthy is said to be impressed with the story and her character being central and significant. She is likely to sign the film on the dotted line.

Though Teja had considered Kajal Aggarwal and Anushka Shetty initially, he finally seems to have zeroed in on Keerthy. Interestingly, the male lead (Venkata Ramana) to be played by Gopichand also has a different character sketch.

Director Teja is said to have worked out well. Billed to be a family entertainer, the film has an interesting premise, say sources in the know. Given that it was Teja who had introduced Gopichand as villain with Nijam, the duo’s collaboration is also raising curiosity.

People Media Factory which has bankrolled films like Venky Mama, Anushka Shetty’s Nishabdam is producing Alamelu Manga Venkata Ramana. Teja is finalising the cast of the film. Once the Corona pandemic ends, the film will roll onto the floors.
