Finally After 7 Year Hiatus, ‘Premam’ Director Is Back

One of the iconic films that the South Indian audience has ever seen is none other than the Malayalam movie ‘Premam’ which introduced a bunch of talents like Sai Pallavi and Anupama Parameswaran to the world. But then, where is director Alphonse Puthren of this movie all these days?

No doubt about it, the whole film audience across India, who happen to be huge fans of “Premam” movie, is actually waiting for Alphonse’s next movie but the director is busy making ads, cutting out trailers for films like Super Deluxe and enjoying his time. Finally a hiatus of nearly 7 years, he has finally got his next film ready and that happens to be “Gold”.

Other day, the teaser of Alphonse Puthren’s next film, Gold, was released on YouTube. The film features none other than talented star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran and superstar Nayantara in the lead. Going by the teaser, we get nothing about the movie but it looks like the director has come up with yet another crime comedy in the lines of his debut movie “Neram”.

“After a small gap of seven years, I am back with my film “GOLD” Teaser is releasing in youtube. Need all your prayers and wishes. You watch it and tell me” (sic), the director posted on his social media page after the release of the teaser. Let’s see what magic “Premam” director will do now.
