Right now if you look at Twitter, two hashtags are trending big time, and they are none other than #BoycottRRR and #BoycottKGF2InTeluguStates. It looks like another ugly fan war has started here, this time between Kannada and Telugu fans, but this is not a positive sign for sure.
With most of the shows being screened in big-tier cities like Bangalore in Karnataka are being the Telugu version of RRR, Kananda fans are demanding an explanation from the makers of the movie for the injustice. While screening Telugu or Kannada version in Karnataka solely depends on the distributors and the local thinktanks, fans have started to trend the hashtag “BoycottRRR”, expressing their displeasure.
Within no time, Telugu fans got hurt by this trend and started to counter it saying that they will target KGF2 if Kannada fans continue this. They have started trending the hashtag “BoycottKGF2InTeluguStates”. These hashtags are only increasing the hatred further and dont do good for anyone.
And the hashtags have soon turned into political debates as some Kannadigas started giving counters that Telugu people should first focus on bringing proper capital city, while Telugu fans asked them about the deaths of liberals in the BJP ruled state.
