As we are yet to get out of the RRR mania, there is another big-ticket film that is gearing up for its release. It is Yash-starrer Kannada blockbuster KGF Chapter:2. The first part of it had a pan-India release and was a blockbuster in all the languages.
Now, the makers are all set to release the second part of it. KGF 2 was supposed to hit the screens last year but was postponed due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns.
This Prashanth Neel directorial is gearing up for a worldwide release on April 14. The theatrical trailer will be released in a few hours.
The trailer launch event will be held in Mumbai and popular Bollywood director-producer Karan Johar will be hosting the event.
Announcing the same, the film’s production house Hombale Films tweeted, “Indian film industry to witness the biggest coup when Karan Johar takes over as the host at the much-awaited trailer launch event of KGF Chapter 2. Will Rocky Bhai get his duniya?”
Fans are expecting KGF 2 to be bigger in scale than KGF. It has to be seen how well does the trailer increase the anticipation around this movie.
