Can Prashanth Neel repeat magic like Rajamouli?

Once again, SS Rajamouli has proved why he is considered the best Indian filmmaker in the current generation. After scoring a thumping success with Baahubali 2, he has repeated a similar feat with his latest outing RRR.

Now, another director is aiming to get pan-India stardom like Rajamouli. We are talking about Prashanth Neel, who shot to nationwide fame with KGF Chapter: 1. The success of KGF made Prashanth an overnight sensation.

But in order to sustain that fame, he needs to score a massive success with his next outing, KGF 2. This film is all set to hit the screens on April 14. KGF 2 has to become more successful than its predecessor. Otherwise, Prashanth Neel’s existing fame may get dented.

Thus, it is a litmus test for the young director. KGF 2 features prominent Bollywood actors like Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon.

So, there are familiar faces that can appeal to North Indian audiences. If the film lives up to the expectations, there it will become a blockbuster for sure.

If the result is positive, there will be no looking back for Prashanth Neel. After the likes of Shankar and Rajamouli, he will become the third South Indian director to get pan-India stardom.
