KGF Chapter: 2 is all set for a grand release on April 14. The makers are planning a wide release in both domestic and international markets. However, the film’s fate will heavily depend on the Telugu version more than the original Kannada version.
In the domestic market, Telugu states are bigger than Karnataka in terms of the film business. KGF 2 is expected to get big openings here for sure due to the success of the first part. Even in Karnataka, the movie will witness grand openings.
In Tamil Nadu, Vijay’s Beast will completely dominate KGF: Chapter 2 for sure. The same will be the case in Kerala too because it is a strong territory of Vijay.
In North India, KGF 2 may get good openings but the run entirely depends on the word of mouth. On the whole, Telugu states will be the major target for the makers to earn big collections.
Coming to the overseas market, KGF 2’s Telugu version is having a wider release in the USA than the Kannada version. Apparently, the ticket pre-sales of the Telugu version are better than the Kannada version. It seems that 85% of the film’s shows in the US are in the Telugu version. The rest of the 15% screens are given for Kannada and other language versions.
Thus, the fate of KGF 2 depends majorly on how it performs in Telugu. Directed by Prashanth Neel, this film features Yash in the lead role. Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, and Rao Ramesh played other important roles in the movie.
