KGF 2 Bigger Than RRR In North?

We are just a few days away from the release of KGF Chapter: 2. Directed by Prashanth Neel, this film is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster KGF. As the first part was a pan-India success, there is huge anticipation around the sequel.

Especially, KGF 2 is enjoying an immense craze in North India. The advance bookings are excellent in the B and C centres of North Indian states. It is expected that the film may collect more than Rs. 30 crores nett. in North India on the first day of its release.

Recently, RRR managed to garner around Rs.20 crores nett. on the first day. It was the first pan-India film of NTR Jr and Ram Charan. Rajamouli’s stardom was not very useful for RRR in the Hindi-speaking belt. The collections are improved when the movie got a positive word of mouth.

KGF 2’s case is different. The first part was a huge hit among Hindi speaking masses. Thus, there is a huge hype on the second part right from the beginning. The inclusion of Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon also helped the film to get more attention among North Indian viewers.

So, it is pretty evident that KGF 2 will beat RRR on the first day for sure. However, the lifetime run depends on the word of mouth.
