Will AP Govt Show Sympathy For KGF 2?

One of the biggest releases of this year, KGF Chapter: 2 is all set to hit the screens on April 14. Directed by Prashanth Neel, this film features Yash in the lead role.

KGF 2 is having a wide release across the world. Even in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the film is getting released across many centers.

Meanwhile, the ticket rates issue in AP is now worrying KGF makers. It is already known that the government of Andhra Pradesh will hike the ticket rates only for the films that are made with a budget of Rs. 100 crores and had 20% of the shoot in the state.

Though KGF fulfills the first condition, it fails to fulfill the second condition because 20% of the film was not shot in Andhra Pradesh.

However, the government of Andhra Pradesh gave an exemption to the recent releases Radhe Shyam and RRR even though they failed to fulfill the second condition.

Thus, the makers of KGF are hoping that the government shows sympathy for them and gives an exemption for their film as well.
